Current electricity and circuits video lessons

Several of the video lessons below on electricity are suitable for physics for 14 to 16 year old students but because much of advanced work is still based upon these key ideas that they are worth revising and most carry the ideas through to a more advanced level which at least are a good introduction to A level standard. The lessons cover Kirchhoff's first and second laws, the drift velocity of charge in a conductor, which is surprisingly slow and the concept of internal resistance together with the difference between EMF and potential difference (PD) which can be hard to grasp.
