Progressive wave properties
The notes below on progressive waves first explain what those waves are and how the measurements of frequency, wavelength and velocity are taken and how they are connected. There are two explanation sheets on polarisation, one explaining what it is with some practical examples. The second gives examples of applications of our knowledge of polarisation.
